A photograph, this is the story of a vision…
Taking pictures requires a bit of technique, a little more of experience but more importantly an eye.
In addition, taking pictures of a model supposes a dose of humility, a part of mystery and some sense of alchemy.
Having taken pictures for more than 25 years, I have been confronted with the growing omnipresence and commoditization of images. In this new era, shooting costs nothing, modifying can be done with a single finger and sharing only takes few seconds. That’s the way it is; sometimes for the worse, fortunately often for the better. In this context, I remain faithful to Black & White, to natural light and to discussions with models. My references are there, it is too late to change.
This website presents some of the pictures resulting from this approach. Let me use this opportunity to thank those great ones who opened my eyes throughout the years and but also all the models without whom these pictures could not be there.
Acting as a spectator is also the story of a vision, so this is your turn now…
